UNESCO World Heritage Sites
editThere are only TWO UNESCO World Heritage Sites in Ireland, not SIX. It is both confusing and deceptive to readers to place Dowth, Knowth, Newgrange and Townleyhall passage grave under the "World Heritage Sites in the Republic of Ireland" category. They are NOT individual world heritage sites but fit under Brú na Bóinne. Please remove the World Heritage categories from the bottom of these four pages. I think a good idea would be to leave links to the four pages in the Brú na Bóinne page. Jaw101ie 02:08, 23 June 2006 (UTC)

Knowth is not a grave?
editKnowth is not a grave. It is a ritual calendric building, part of a complex that includes Dowth and New Grange. The ashes-in-the basin theory is without foundation. See Martin Brennan, The Stones of Time. - (Anon editor) Sarah777 (talk) 14:39, 10 May 2008 (UTC)
Pronounce?
editHow do you pronounce Knowth? RJFJR (talk) 17:21, 1 December 2008 (UTC)
- Like the Engish word "now" with a 'th' on the end, more or less. Not sure how to represent that in IPA. --Nicknack009 (talk) 13:35, 3 December 2008 (UTC)
- A friend at wiktionary converts that as /naʊθ/ so I added it to the intro. RJFJR (talk) 16:57, 30 January 2009 (UTC)
Undifferentiated
editWhat is this trying to say:
- "The western passage ends in an undifferentiated chamber (ie: it has no sides, it is a rectangular room). "
How can a room, especially a rectangular one, have no sides? Does it somehow mean decorated sides? RJFJR (talk) 16:10, 30 January 2009 (UTC)
- See the article on passage graves. -- Solo Owl 02:17, 17 July 2014 (UTC)
