The name should be Kogaionon and not Kogaion (see Sorin Olteanu for instance, given as a reference). But I see there's a species with "Kogaionon" page. What page should take primacy? Daizus 08:28, 31 January 2007 (UTC)Reply
- everybody knows the sacred dacian mountain as Kogaion, let's leave it that way, so that the people looking for it on wiki (funny place to search for a sacred mountain, don't you think? :P ) will actually find it. :) IleanaCosanziana 18:35, 11 March 2007 (UTC)Reply
- Then everybody excludes people like me or Strabo or Sorin Olteanu themselves (who are given as a references). A note can be added about "Kogaion" in media and the protochronistic cultural phenoma in Romanian media, but as the historical references go, it's "Kogaionon" not "Kogaion". Sorin Olteanu's article which is mentioned as reference discusses the meaning and the etymology of this name (as "sacred mountain", as the text of the article points out, too). Eventually "Kogaion" can redirect to this page, too. Daizus 07:19, 12 March 2007 (UTC)Reply
- god forbid i should disagree with strabo! i was merely pointing out the popularity of "kogaion", over "kogaionon". a just thing would be that of renaming this article, as you suggested, "kogaionon", and, thus, making "kogaion" redirect here. but that would mean we would have to also make a disambiguation page.
- when i said "we", i'm not yet sure i meant myself. :) i could improve the article, though. that is, when i get the chance/spare time. in any case, i'll try writing it in romanian first.IleanaCosanziana 01:24, 13 March 2007 (UTC)Reply
