used only in Italy, Ireland, and Germany

"used only in Italy, Ireland, and Germany" - it is only a trivial mention, but it seems to suggest quite a bit more. John Vandenberg (chat) 08:36, 8 November 2009 (UTC)Reply

This source appears to be saying that in the 1930s the test was administered by the U.S. Public Health Service at immigration offices in Europe, (previous page) but only in Italy, Ireland, and Germany. Firsfron of Ronchester 18:09, 8 November 2009 (UTC)Reply

In The Dublas Of Gujarat (p.271-6), this test was used on the Dublas, a tribe that Wikipedia knows basically (virtually?) nothing about. --John Vandenberg (chat) 09:37, 8 November 2009 (UTC)Reply

Searching for Kohs in A Bibliography Of Mental Tests And Rating Scales (1933) shows that there are a few tests which have built upon this.

  • Maxfield-Kohs Block Design Test,, by F. N. Maxfield and S. C. Kohs
  • Kent's Color Cube Test, by G. H. Kent
  • Kohs Ethical Discrimination Test, by S. C. Kohs. Chicago: C. H. Stoelting Company, 1920.

You may find it helpful while reading or editing articles to look at a bibliography of Intelligence Citations, posted for the use of all Wikipedians who have occasion to edit articles on human intelligence and related issues. I happen to have circulating access to a huge academic research library at a university with an active research program in these issues (and to another library that is one of the ten largest public library systems in the United States) and have been researching these issues since 1989. You are welcome to use these citations for your own research. You can help other Wikipedians by suggesting new sources through comments on that page. It will be extremely helpful for articles on human intelligence to edit them according to the Wikipedia standards for reliable sources for medicine-related articles, as it is important to get these issues as well verified as possible. -- WeijiBaikeBianji (talk, how I edit) 18:40, 27 April 2014 (UTC)Reply
