Name of Koja's wife

edit
Solved: All versions of Koja's wife name are added to the article

Bosha

edit

User:Gaius Claudius Nero and User:ZjarriRrethues deleted a version of name of Kojа's mother (Boša) although it is supported by the presented source and instead inserted Bosha transliteration which is not supported by the sources.

I will AGF in this case and believe that this deletion of letter š does not have ethno-nationalist background.

Still, if nobody presents a source which support Bosha version of the name of his mother within reasonable period of time, say a week, I will return the sourced version of the name to this article.--Antidiskriminator (talk) 19:09, 20 January 2012 (UTC)Reply

Antid. the letter š is transliterated as 'sh' in English i.e because this is the English wikipedia, whenever a source is written in a non-English language whenever possible full transliterations should be provided. Btw the total number of your reverts reached 3RR levels.--— ZjarriRrethues — talk 10:28, 21 January 2012 (UTC)Reply
Can you provide a source that her name originally contained sh version before it was transliterated to š? Please read Wikipedia:Tag team--Antidiskriminator (talk) 10:44, 21 January 2012 (UTC)Reply
I found another source for Boša alternative (this one contain information about her family name - Dukađin). That gives two three sources for Boša version (for now):

I propose to add Boša alternative name to the article. Does anybody have anything against it?--Antidiskriminator (talk) 19:12, 23 January 2012 (UTC)Reply

Божа

edit

Two sources present Божа (Boža) form of the name of Koja Zaharia's widow.

  1. The same source (written by Ivan Božić).
  2. Oliver Jens Schmitt transliterated Boža to German language as Bozha p.304.

I propose to add Boža alternative name to the article. Does anybody have anything against it?--Antidiskriminator (talk) 09:09, 23 January 2012 (UTC)Reply

You can add Schmitt's alternative but not the Cyrillic one i.e no non-Latin alphabet alternatives when Latin ones exist.--— ZjarriRrethues — talk 10:15, 23 January 2012 (UTC)Reply
Boža is written on Latin alphabet.--Antidiskriminator (talk) 10:28, 23 January 2012 (UTC)Reply
The original is in Cyrillic i.e if you do want to add that alternative use the Schmitt one.--— ZjarriRrethues — talk 10:54, 23 January 2012 (UTC)Reply
Schmitt is on German and Božić is on Serbian language. Is there any particular reason to chose German version in case of Slavic names?--Antidiskriminator (talk) 11:14, 23 January 2012 (UTC)Reply

Three sources support Боса/Bosa form of the name of Koja Zaharia's widow:

Boxia

edit

Boxia is fifth version which can be found in Venetian document written on Latin languge (the same source presents Boša version):

I think it would be too much to add every alternative name of Koja's mother to the article about her son. Maybe the best solution would be to use only one which is most used. Until now we have:

  1. Боша/Boša
  2. Божа/Boža
  3. Bosa
  4. Bozha
  5. Boxia

Any proposals?--Antidiskriminator (talk) 19:56, 25 January 2012 (UTC)Reply

I will add Bosa (Boša, Boža, Boxia) since it covers all above mentioned versions and transliterations.--Antidiskriminator (talk) 15:14, 30 January 2012 (UTC)Reply
