its logo
editHi, why is the logo copyrighted? isn't it like Nvu's logo under GPL?--OsamaK (talk) 11:08, 19 November 2007 (UTC)
- Nvu's logo (and the name itself) are registered trademarks of Linspire Inc.
- Kompozer's logo is free. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 82.122.18.49 (talk) 16:35, 20 December 2008 (UTC)

History
editI think this article needs fleshing out. There is a reference to a download.com article in which subject is compared positively with a defacto standard of the industry. But when was it first created? To the previous point, what is its feature history? Who maintains this? TelecomNut (talk) 16:13, 29 November 2008 (UTC)
Merge
editA merge might be a good idea - sooner rather than later - if KompoZer is as it seems, nothing more than a maintenance branch of Nvu waiting for a replacement. There is already a lot of duplication of information here from the Nvu article. 86.47.161.201 (talk) 12:07, 12 November 2008 (UTC)
- NO MERGE
(1) No, it is much different from Nvu. Use the program; read the reviews. (2) Stop making anonymous edits. Dogru144 (talk) 23:03, 13 November 2008 (UTC)
2009 - Possible Enhancements In KompoZer Project
editRobert Kaiser - one of the senior figures within the developement of SeaMonkey - reports the following:
http://home.kairo.at/blog/2009-02/seamonkey_composer_development_coming_ba
( that URL is complete - despite looking as though truncated )
summarized as follows:
1: KompoZer 0.8 in alpha - this is mainly a port to Gecko 1.8.1 - "The 0.8a1 version is much more stable than the 0.7.x branch, which was already significantly more stable than Nvu 1.0."
2: The intention to port to Gecko 1.9.1 - "possibly by backporting KompoZer to SeaMonkey Composer" - resulting in KompoZer existing as both a standalone editor and the future version of SeaMonkey Composer.
These are not yet finalized plans, but talks are under way... —Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.25.120.198 (talk) 04:50, 20 February 2009 (UTC)
