Konakovo Power Station → Konakovskaya GRES – The correct name is "Konakovskaya GRES" according to the official website of the owner https://www.enelrussia.ru/en/about-us/konakovskaya-gres.html Nyrov (talk) 11:27, 16 February 2021 (UTC)

- Oppose per WP:UE and WP:OFFICIALNAMES. At the same time, the issue is broader as there is no agreed naming convention concerning Russian power stations articles. Therefore, there is a variety of different style of names. Currently there is articles named GRES like Sredneuralskaya GRES and Beryozovskaya GRES, Ekibastuz GRES-1 and Ekibastuz GRES-2 Power Station )both in Kazakhstan, not in Russia), but also GES-2 (Moscow), which does not make any sense in English. We should probably rename all of them. Another issue is inconsistency by using "station" or "plant". E.g. in this article very recently a editor changed all words "station" to "plant" notwithstanding the article's title. Beagel (talk) 08:31, 17 February 2021 (UTC)
