The reference Koornwinder (1974) is not on Koornwinder polynomials in the sense of the current page. However, a few authors, long ago, also denoted the orthogonal polynomials introduced in Koornwinder (1974) by "Koornwinder polynomials". See in particular the dissertation (Universiteit van Amsterdam, 1979) "Koornwinder polynomials, a special class of orthogonal polynomials in two variables" by I.G. Sprinkhuizen-Kuyper. Nowadays these polynomials are called Jacobi polynomials for root system BC2 (or Heckman-Opdam polynomials for root system BC2). Therefore I propose to remove the reference Koornwinder (1974).
