What exactly distinguishes a korean knife apart form other knives?

What is an example a traditional korean blade? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.160.239.45 (talkcontribs) 04:23, 19 June 2005

Here's one, called jangdo. While both sexes carried it, it is commonly associated with women, possibly because women didn't usually carry larger blades. Ones with silver scabbard and hilt were common and were known as eunjangdo, "eun" meaning silver. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.83.45.98 (talk) 14:20, 31 January 2010 (UTC)Reply
