Toward a page that disambiguates
edit Or rather, toward a WP-compliant Dab page, which the accompanying page is not, no matter how vigorously it tries to Dab'ate.

- Both the accompanying Dab and the related SIA Cyrus are terrible messes, and i think their cleanups should involve recognizing that covering the line of kings only
- individually, and
- within the context of enumerating people who've been named after them (whether after one of them or after them collectively) is an idea whose usefulness has at some point been exhausted. The restructure i'm undertaking should work out along these lines:
- Split out most of the prose part as The kings Cyrus of Persia or The Cyrus dynasty or Cyrus the Great and his dynasty and, if justified, separate bios on any who need to have more than a short single 'graph on the primary empire-maker's article,
- Koresh (disambiguation), and
- SIA Cyrus with minimal prose intro, including entries for the 3 kings, linking to their respective bio articles or sections of the dynastic history.
- OK, i'll also be reflecting what i just got straight, that no 2 of the 3 were father and son, and maybe the right approach is something like covering the most remembered kings in individual bios, with a paragraph linking to each of the separate articles, and a sentence covering each of the intervening groups of non-too-notable ones. (I'm now speculating that at least from C the Elder to C the Younger they were each named Cyrus, huh?)
