Text and/or other creative content from this version of Lake Kournas was copied or moved into Kournas, Chania with this edit on 4 July 2016. The former page's history now serves to provide attribution for that content in the latter page, and it must not be deleted as long as the latter page exists.

There was previously an article at title "Kournas" which was mostly about the lake, but also partly about the village, and had interwiki links to articles about the lake on other Wikipedias, in particular on Greek Wikipedia. A new stub about the village was created at "Kournas Chania", as a partial translation of the Greek article on the village, and with interwiki link to a different article on Gk Wikipedia. I moved this new stub to a title with comma, copied the section of text which referred to the village from the lake article (with appropriate notice on both talk pages), moved the lake article to Lake Kournas, and redirected Kournas to target the village, not the lake. I think this leaves everything in a better situation than before. I'm putting this note on talk pages of both articles to clarify the history. PamD15:49, 4 July 2016 (UTC)Reply
