– The town of Križevci, Croatia is the primary topic for this title. Despite the apparent length of the dab page, there are really only three things of interest: the Croatian town (pop. 21000) and two Slovenian villages Križevci, Gornji Petrovci (pop. 439) and Križevci pri Ljutomeru (pop. 499). Everything else are sport clubs and institutions, most of them from the Croatian town. Not just because of size, the Croatian town is primary for its history and culture: it is first mentioned in 1193 and is the seat of the Greek Catholic Eparchy of Križevci (est. 1777) and Križevci Synagogue (1895).
