Krieg nicht lieb

edit

'lieb' doesn't mean 'love'!

two possibilities:

  • the producers are stupid. they wanted the german translation of the reversed 'love not war' and just forgot the e at the end.
  • they wanted something like 'war is not nice/good' and built a sentence without a verb, like a child would do.

imo the second is much more likely.--91.47.211.224 (talk) 20:17, 1 January 2015 (UTC)Reply

Don't think so. Even the most basic arabic is wrong in this series so it seems likely they just didn't know better. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 93.104.35.176 (talk) 09:19, 2 January 2015 (UTC)Reply

Hello, I am german. "Krieg Nicht Lieb" does not make any sense in german, even not in the most quaint version of it. It could definitely not be understood as "Don't start loving" (at least by me). A literal translation could be something like "war not kind". And it violates german orthography, too. So "wAr Not kinD" would be more accurate. --193.159.161.34 (talk) —Preceding undated comment added 12:31, 25 May 2016 (UTC)Reply
