POV statement?
edit"The Norwegian 200 krones note is a handsome example of modern currency, and it is a fine tribute to one of the world's greatest space physicists." Seems to be frivolous, someone's opinion, and thus POV. I could argue that a statue or a mural on the wall of the Empire State's building would be a more fitting tribute to Birkeland. However, it's subjective, and the visual appeal of a piece of currency is relatively extraneous to the discussion of the PERSON. As such, it should probably be struck from the article? Or at least cleaned up, and put with other notes about post-mortem acclaim (if any; consider his work is often wrongly ignored by the astrophysical community despite having been generally *verified* to the extent a number of bits and pieces have been rigorously tested, most notably: Birkeland current and his works on understanding the driving forces behind the aurorae) into a sub-section? Minor Edit
editJust writing to say I changed the name on the link to the 200 Kroner note. It used to say "Krones," like the English pluralization of a Norwegian singular noun "krone". The plural in Norwegian in "Kroner." 67.221.70.5 (talk) 16:24, 21 July 2010 (UTC)
