editthe beers listed here are all the UK variants, the ABV differ in other countries including France. --Peternkirk111 10:29, 26 February 2006 (UTC)
- Yes. 1664 is 5.5% ABV in France. Shouldn't it be written on the page ? --Earendel 08:, 27 April 2006 (UTC)
It may serve a purpose to inform that Kronenbourg is in fact a part of Strasbourg, known long before the beer.Dan Koehl 11:55, 18 May 2005 (UTC)
- Kronenbourg is the name of the beer, but Cronenbourg (where this beer was first brewed) is the name of one of the Strasbourg's suburbs. Hyrka
What is the ABV of 1664? In the intro section it says "The main brand is Kronenbourg 1664, a 5.0% abv pale lager" but in the products section it says "Kronenbourg 1664, the company's main brand, is a 5.5% pale lager" 2001:470:1F07:DC4:D685:64FF:FEBB:A2A9 (talk) 00:15, 15 November 2012 (UTC)
Question: Kronenbourg 1664 UK Separate Page to Kronenbourg Brewery?
editHi there,
I would like to make a new page purely for the lager Kronenbourg 1664 specifically in the UK as the UK brewery is in Manchester & owned by Heineken, not Carlsberg as the current Kronenbourg Brewery page would suggest - this agreement happened in 2008: http://www.reuters.com/article/us-scottishnewcastle-idUSL2338824920080125
Is this possible? I can't seem to find lager brands split out by location (UK;USA etc) so I didn't know whether this is possible or not? This would, however, be more accurate & the ideal. Please let me know alternative options if necessary.
Would appreciate any help and next steps.
Thanks,
Kelly

French Kronenbourg
editAlthough the 1664 is the most popular product in some markets, in France a Kronenbourg is usually the eponymous Kronenbourg blonde which is by far the most popular beer. The 1664 is a sister brand and, although obviously brewed by Kronenbourg, rarely referred to as a 'Kronenbourg 1664' (and indeed mamy people will skip the 64 part as well). 92.192.205.210 (talk) 12:22, 28 September 2023 (UTC)
