Detroit has a very rich history In and around the world of Sports and Music. The Kronk Gym,Detroit Street Service,Detroit Pal,Crawell,Croix Boy,Boy 15.Livonia Boxing,Westland,And Ann Arbor Ypsilanti. Produced Great Pro fighters ,mccrory, kinte ,hearns, lalley,Beasly I remember being in the basement of kronk Me Stacy",Manny" And Thomas" He was training for the sugar ray fight and he said JoJo Curl" gimmie that Bucket ,wow ,Tommy hearns. But we were just kids fighting in the Gym ,its how it was ,Theese men Theese trainers really kept Alot of youth out of the system ,and Single handedly saved alot of youth from the world of the Streets and Turned Otherwise potential Rival "gang members" into productive young men. We owe alot to guys like Emanual Steward and Roosevelt "Stacy" McKinley. Sugar Hill , They Gave ,and still give alot of themselves and deserve to be Recognized. They also stopped alot of potential racism in the inner city, and out by mixing theese clubs. If you had enough guts to "walk the walk" the Gym door was always open.Other Gym are up and coming Like A2 in AnnArbor run by a Boxer and friend Erik McGuire,.One of the single best experiences a young man could have. If nothing else you could learn how to take a punch. And that can be a good skill in Detroit or any city ask Mills lane."JoelDockett."
