Editing and formatting
editSomeone else can work out how to edit what I added
I'm very unfamiliar with Wikipedia or its conventions, but she's pretty clearly notable. Here's an article about her victory in the talent show: http://www.examiner.com/x-6988-SF-Music-Examiner~y2009m8d11-Kseniya-Simonova-Ukrainian-sand-animator-wins-Ukraines-Got-Talent Could someone put that into proper Wikipedia format? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 65.1.231.228 (talk) 00:15, 12 August 2009 (UTC)
Some info to use
editI am not a Ukranian speaker so I will not edit her page. I gather her name is Ксения Симонова, Ukraine's got talent Україна має талант . She is evidently a student, probably what would be called Liberal Arts in the US. Use google translate on Ukranian news story.Geo8rge (talk) 19:26, 13 August 2009 (UTC)
- The Ukraine language wikipedia page for Got Talent franchise#Ukraine is Україна має талант. It gives her name as Ксенія Симонова and has inline interwiki links to a few other language franchises. -84user (talk) 20:38, 17 August 2009 (UTC)
- There is also this short blog entry from blogger AlexandR_UA in English linking to another entry in Ukrainian showing three of her earlier sand animations. 84user (talk) 21:54, 17 August 2009 (UTC)
Here is an article from the Kyiv Post, an English Language newspaper in the Ukraine[1] It gives her name as Kseniya Simonova, and her residence as the Crimean town of Yevpatoria. It gives some background material, not all of which might be seen as appropriate here; but which helps people to understand what she is really like. She is married, her husband works in theatre. SHe Started Sand art in 2008, though she was already trained as an artist. She is involved in charity work with children and, along with the mother of one of the children she had tried to help - but who had died on Dec 5th, 2009 - she has started a new charitable campaign called "Christmas Angel". There are other pieces of information; it is just that I do not know how to fit them in with Wiki standards. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Kuitan (talk • contribs) 21:38, 24 December 2009 (UTC)
Is this useful?
editКсения Симонова. Художник. -- Someone dropped this into the references section. It might be useful as a reference if some bilingual person can put it to good use, but for now it isn't helping anyone. JBsupreme (talk) 20:46, 11 January 2010 (UTC)
Copyedit
editI started to copyedit and will come back to it. USchick (talk) 00:43, 12 March 2011 (UTC)
- I fixed the language, but I don't know how much of her personal story should be removed. USchick (talk) 17:55, 12 March 2011 (UTC)

Adding new information and photographs
editI have been studying Simonova's art for five years working as an independent journalist and found the article here poor and with info only for 2009 and 2010, thought there was a lot of things that had to be added. So I have found a lot of sourses and created new paragraphs on the article. I have also edited old information, just to make it in one style with later events. I added the photos of Kseniya Simonova performances I made since I worked as a journalist. These are my photos and my property. I dont understand why the person who made an older impact here deleted these photos and as I understand, is going to delete my impact too. I am asking to check my impact and verification and leave my impact as it is here as it was a big amount of work and the souces are verifyable. I also demand to return my photos to the article as soon as possible. Татьяна Ар (talk) 16:29, 25 October 2016 (UTC)
Removing templates
editPlease remove the templates of the "fanpage" after the cleaning up I did. I don't know who is removing them. There is no more "fanpage" style in the article. The unreliable sources were also removed, so I am requesting you to remove the second template about the unreliable sources. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 193.106.161.135 (talk) 10:25, 7 February 2019 (UTC)
I did a lot of cleanup of excessive links. Could someone please review the article to see if the template regarding the excessive links qualifies for removal? Thank you March 5 2019Xanndra2 (talk) 03:36, 6 March 2019 (UTC) xanndra2
Removing the Template
editHello. Back in February, I cleaned up this article and removed any content that made the page seem like it was written from a fan's point of view. I removed quite a lot of content relating to that as well as changed the wordings of some sentences so that it was written from a neutral point of view. I have a question. Why hasn't the template been removed? Wht is it still there? Were my efforts not enough? I guess I have some questions rather than one. My point is I don't know why the template is still there.
