Districts (kaupunginosat) are not divisions of wards (suuralueet). Wards are divided into statistical areas (tilastoalueet) which are further divided into "sub-districts" (pienalueet).
Districts of Jyväskylä are developmental areas and are used for land register numbers, for example the register numbers in Ristikivi are "179-25-xxx-xxx" where 25 is the district number assigned to Ristikivi. (Some have 402 instead of 25, the 402 refers to the register village of Keljo). The numbers can be seen on, for example, kartta.jkl.fi
Wards don't really have a meaning outside of official statistics and I don't think they deserve articles, unless it is easier to consolidate articles for multiple less significant districts under articles named after wards. Kapulakone (talk) 07:55, 5 October 2023 (UTC)Reply
