List of Governors

edit

Hello, I don't think the List of Governors of Kurgan Oblast should be merged into Kurgan Oblast.

With only three people on that list, why not?—Ëzhiki (Igels Hérissonovich Ïzhakoff-Amursky) • (yo?); July 27, 2012; 12:20 (UTC)
In the article Kurgan Oblast there is a red link to a not yet written article about the Governor of Kurgan Oblast. Torstrand July 27, 2012 15:15 (CEST) — Preceding unsigned comment added by Torstrand (talkcontribs) 13:15, 27 July 2012 (UTC)Reply
Well, with that in mind, it seems that the best solution would be to move the "List of Governors of Kurgan Oblast" to "Governor of Kurgan Oblast". This way some background could be added, along with the short list.—Ëzhiki (Igels Hérissonovich Ïzhakoff-Amursky) • (yo?); July 27, 2012; 15:33 (UTC)

History

edit

I don't think Kurgan Oblast's history started in 1943!! What abpout Sarmatians, Hunns, Scythians, why to act like they were never here? It's a shame that there is not a single line of REAL history in this article. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 81.183.245.214 (talk) 08:26, 14 July 2014 (UTC)Reply

The oblast's history started at its inception, which is indeed in 1943. There would, of course, be nothing wrong with adding some brief background information to this article about the history of the territories that preceded Kurgan Oblast, but that wouldn't change the fact that the history of the oblast proper (which is what the subject of this article is) started only in 1943.—Ëzhiki (Igels Hérissonovich Ïzhakoff-Amursky) • (yo?); July 14, 2014; 12:25 (UTC)

Map shows Crimea as part of Russia.

edit

The map shows Crimea as part of Russia. Is that correct? 2001:1C03:6484:B400:485:6BA7:398:E85 (talk) 16:36, 13 January 2024 (UTC)Reply
