To whoever in Writing for the Digital World is editing this I am seething. Kurri is my hometown and I would have loved to cover this. Do it justice. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Jenaemadden (talk • contribs) 01:08, 21 March 2020 (UTC)Reply
Hi Jenaemadden. You are more than welcome to add to it, improve it, udpate it, give it more depth. Just remember to use independent reliable sources for any content. I have just digitized a super 8 film reel, amazingly of Kurri Kurri aluminium smelter in operation, which was recorded by my grandfather Les Whellum (dec'd) many years ago. I think it would be a great contribution to display on this page -- if I upload the video to wikimedia commons could someone please embed it properly for me? --anthony

That seems like something that would be a great addition! Well, I'm not completely sure if a video would fit well into an article (it depends on the video), but I imagine still frames from the video would work well since currently the article lacks any images of the smelter, and the whole video would be welcome on commons.
