Award winning mixed martial artist?
editFormer title "award winning mixed martial artist" is misleading because 1. He has never even fought a pro MMA fight, 2. he awards came by having a flawless college wrestling career. I believe revision takes this into account. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.233.211.126 (talk) 11:52, 30 April 2009 (UTC)
Congenital Amputee
editSomeone mentioned Kyle Maynard to me, and how the fact he could become a MMA fighter was inspiring... So I came to this article to find out why. I read through the whole article, and beyond mentioning he won an award for "best disabled athlete", it doesn't bother to mention his disability at all! I had to go look elsewhere to find out. This disability (to take nothing from this obviously talented man) is obviously a large part of the reason for his notability. I think this is a case of political correctness getting in the way of someone stating the obvious (and in this case, what's really important to be put forward). I'm prettttty sure Mr. Maynard will not be offended by the mention of his being an amputee, and I found this article absolutely laughable without it. 206.248.161.167 (talk) 14:34, 25 January 2012 (UTC)
