Merge with Maui ʻalauahio?
editI'm wondering if anyone else thinks this article ought to be merged with Maui ʻalauahio. Perhaps if this subspecies was more significantly morphologically distinguishable from the Maui subspecies -- but it sounds to me as though even those familiar with it in life did not find much to distinguish the two subspecies. Merging the two articles would also bring this species in line with the treatment of the Hawaiʻi ʻAmakihi, which also has multiple hard-to-differentiate subspecies, all sharing a single article.
