Not enforced - what????

edit

Not enforced - what does that mean anyway? I am very sure that their are lots of police who would go out of their way to enforce this old "buggery common-law act offence" of 1867 within the context of the Criminal Code of Guyana. Now I remember that in Tasmania, Australia (section 123) and Singapore (section 377, section 377A is still in the Penal Code) just before the repeal of the buggery sections there was OUTRAGE among people who protested for days and days about the law and right-wing individual crack-pot rednecks now say "the world will now end that to the Government approving gay sex". No what does that mean anyway???? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 124.183.90.222 (talk) 06:32, 12 May 2009 (UTC)Reply

Not enforced means that few if anyone is arrested for consensual buggery, if the police were to suspect most sex crimes, e.g. child molestation, they would investigate but this is not the case with buggery. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Blakdogg (talkcontribs) 19:53, 5 December 2010 (UTC)Reply
