Talk:LGBTQ rights in Oceania

Latest comment: 11 years ago by Aridd in topic F.S. Micronesia

Intended set-up

edit

The intention of this article is to provide a general overview of laws regarding homosexuality in Oceania in the same way the article LGBT rights in Europe does this for Europe. It, however, remains a work in progress. LightPhoenix (talk) 17:33, 21 December 2008 (UTC)Reply

F.S. Micronesia

edit

For the F.S. Micronesia, the page indicated: "The US hate crime laws also apply to all US external territories as well". The Federated States of Micronesia is not an external territory of the US; it's a sovereign state (since 1986), with a Compact of Free Association with the US. US law does not apply in the FSM unless retained there since the colonial era. I've therefore replaced the incorrect information with a question mark. Aridd (talk) 09:29, 30 May 2013 (UTC)Reply
