Article Title (Chatbot Arena -> LMArena)

[edit]

The website (which used to be called Chatbot Arena[1]) has been renamed to LMArena. This change is reflected on all of its subpages (see FAQ, Blog, About) and also in usage by publication outlets[2][3][4]. I think it is best if we update the article title to reflect this change.

For now, I have added a redirect to this page for LMArena. If there is no opposition to this request in due time, I will perform the page move. Qifzer (talk) 20:42, 9 June 2025 (UTC)Reply
I have moved the page. Qifzer (talk) 16:27, 18 June 2025 (UTC)Reply

When was it actually launched?

[edit]

The infobox currently states "Founded March 2025 / Launched May 3, 2023", which seems contradicting. Cardace (talk) 13:23, 21 August 2025 (UTC)Reply

The founding date was added without any concrete evidence. I have removed it. ❤︎PrincessPandaWiki (talk | contribs) 14:20, 9 September 2025 (UTC)Reply

Mandatory registration

[edit]

Probably not notable enough for mention in the article (?), but the site did briefly require user registration in early April of 2026, as can be seen in the article history. ~2026-21634-39 (talk) 02:33, 8 April 2026 (UTC)Reply

Article Title (from LMArena to Arena)

[edit]

Official sources show that LMArena has been renamed to Arena. The change is global like the previous change from Chatbot Arena to LMArena. However, currently I am busy and have not found secondary sources for this yet (as I just saw it has not been renamed). But I feel like we should change the article name. Thank you for your attention. (Source according to the primary page: "https://arena.ai/about") 16dvnk (talk) 16:20, 25 May 2026 (UTC)Reply

Hello 16dvnk,
The article already has sources for its rename to arena, so do not worry about the source part. This just need a page move to Arena.
Sincerely, ~2026-31206-97 (talk) 11:12, 27 May 2026 (UTC)Reply

Infobox

[edit]

I do not have sources, and this is pure "original research", but now it seems like they make you register in Arena before you can send anything. Can someone do a check to see if my claim is true? Thanks! ~2026-31206-97 (talk) 15:58, 29 May 2026 (UTC)Reply
