LSD (video game) → LSD: Dream Emulator – Per WP:SUBTITLE - subtitles as disambiguation are preferable to parenthetical disambiguation. This subtitle is still relatively short. ZXCVBNM (TALK) 14:46, 26 March 2018 (UTC)

- Support as per above. ~ P*h3i (📨) 21:47, 26 March 2018 (UTC)
- Support. Normally I wouldn't, but it helps with disambiguation (WP:NATURALDIS) and the common name in sources seems to mostly include the subtitles as well. ~ Dissident93 (talk) 03:15, 27 March 2018 (UTC)
- Support - Plenty of sources use the subtitled name, enough at least to use per WP:NATURALDIS. Made me think though, why isn't the drug article at LSD rather than Lysergic acid diethylamide like we had TNT and DDT ? -- Netoholic @ 04:51, 27 March 2018 (UTC)
- I think it should be as well. Care to start another RM there? ~ Dissident93 (talk) 03:12, 28 March 2018 (UTC)
- There have been several move requests to change it to LSD and they have all been shot down, so that is not really an option.ZXCVBNM (TALK) 13:05, 28 March 2018 (UTC)
- Well that's dumb. Were they ever pointed to the two listed examples? ~ Dissident93 (talk) 14:58, 28 March 2018 (UTC)

Title:
editThe discussion above is starting from the assumption that "dream emulator" is the subtitle for the game, but what if instead it's the tagline and not part of the official name? Taglines = additional promotional phrases not part of the official title, and subtitles = part of the official title. Just because text is on the cover doesn't mean it's a subtitle. A key way to checking is looking at the spine which will list the official full name.
Examples:
- Alundra 2 from 2008 to 2019 was called "Alundra 2: A New Legend Begins" on Wikipedia because of Tagline/subtitle confusion. What if the same is happening here?
- Popful Mail has "Magical Fantasy Adventure" around the title.
- Racing Lagoon has "High Speed driving RPG" on the cover.
Both Sony and Famitsu list the game as just "LSD". It's possible westerners made this mistake a long time ago and have just kept repeating it. A similar issue may be going on at Cotton: Fantastic Night Dreams. Harizotoh9 (talk) 06:18, 5 June 2019 (UTC)
- Official or not doesn't matter. Many sources refer to it by that name, so it's a natural disambig title. TarkusABtalk 11:29, 5 June 2019 (UTC)
- WP:NATDIS for the proper link, LSD on it's own would require the use of (video game). ~ Dissident93 (talk) 16:21, 5 June 2019 (UTC)
