I've added an old photo, but a new one would be better, showing the incinerator. We can't use JEP pictures because they're copyrighted. Danrok (talk) 00:26, 9 July 2012 (UTC)Reply

What is the difference between diesel and HFO, in the infobox? Danrok (talk) 18:36, 9 July 2012 (UTC)Reply

HFO is heavier than diesel if left a room temperature it will turn solid, it is used for heating boilers, diesel is used for sulzer and gas turbines (Fdsdh1 (talk) 18:52, 9 July 2012 (UTC))Reply

Do you know specifically which HFO is used? Ideally it needs to be linked (few people will know what HFO is, article should be understandable to non-experts), but the relevant page (Heavy fuel oil) talks about both diesel and HFO. Danrok (talk) 19:04, 9 July 2012 (UTC)Reply

Fuel Oil can be any oil I guess, Diesel and HFO are types of fuel oil however they are very different so do not fall under the same category, if both diesel and HFO were linked to the fuel oil page it could help clear up misunderstanding (Fdsdh1 (talk) 19:12, 9 July 2012 (UTC)) I have linked HFO in infobox to HFO in maritime section of Fuel Oil page (which describes it) — Preceding unsigned comment added by Fdsdh1 (talkcontribs) 19:28, 9 July 2012 (UTC)Reply

Energy from waste plant

edit

I'd imagine this should be included? Specifications, power output, etc. Danrok (talk) 18:57, 11 July 2012 (UTC)Reply

Energy from waste is run and owned by the States, it only shares water supply and chimmney with La Collette so shouldn't really be mentioned. (Fdsdh1 (talk) 16:51, 16 July 2012 (UTC))Reply
