Times letter
editIn a letter to The Times in the issue for 2 December 2003 a correspondent wrote: "After its defeat in the 1987 election, the Labour Party launched a campaign called “Labour Listens”. The public meetings became fiascos as various single-interest groups turned up to act out set-piece battles, and Roy Hattersley recorded his gratitude that Labour stopped listening before he completely lost his faith in democracy".--Britannicus (talk) 17:38, 21 October 2014 (UTC)
