Color count

edit

According to maws the game has a palette of 32 colors. Can anyone verify this? --elias.hc 20:12, 21 May 2006 (UTC)Reply

The hardware (according to the PCB schematics) allows the game to select 32 out of 64 possible RGB values. So the palette has 32 entries but Lady Bug uses only 20 unique colors including black and white (determined by the RGB look-up PROM). Arnim 22:36, 10 June 2006 (UTC)Reply

I removed this sentence "A Homebrew port of Lady Bug is currently in production for the Atari 2600 and should be completed by early fall 2006." because it seems about as unencyclopaedic as I can immagine anything being. Wikipedia shouldn't be tracking people's pet programming projects (alliteration unintentional). 142.59.153.99 09:14, 26 August 2006 (UTC)Reply

The above post is elitist nonsense. The Atari 2600 port should be included in the article and is in fact finished and for sale: http://www.atariage.com/store/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=829 The new Atari cartridge is no less a home adaption than the Colecovision cartridge which is already mentioned in the article. If Ports are to be included include them all, otherwise leave the article to be solely about the arcade machine.

In fact, the Atari 2600 port is more accurate than the others mentioned in the article, despite being on an inferior machine. It could be one of the best Atari 2600 games ever released, not just a "pet project", and quite relevant in the current Atari 2600 scene. ¿Is the problem having been made in the 2000s instead of the 80s? It's a pity people interested in this game can't learn about the most faithful of the home ports. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 83.33.11.101 (talk) 22:44, 6 September 2009 (UTC)Reply

Does Lady Bug have a kill screen, and if so could this be added to the article--72.200.81.216 06:49, 4 September 2007 (UTC)Reply

commodore/amiga 2000

edit

I first played ladybug on the commodore/amiga 2000, but the only proof i have is the disc itself, i can't find any references anywhere to support this. I am also looking for information about the music to this version, but it looks like i'll have to resurrect an old computer to do that. 74.194.69.27 (talk) 23:49, 12 December 2007 (UTC)Reply

Fair use rationale for Image:Lbcoleco.jpg

edit

Image:Lbcoleco.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Hello fellow Wikipedians,

I have just added archive links to one external link on Lady Bug (video game). Please take a moment to review my edit.
