editLag is when a computer is old. The pc can't resist to the lag but it depends on what there is in the file or in the game or in a site. Your pc is old and you have so CPU that the PC starts to vibrate like an airplane like Victoria Osong 7 years old computer.
Computing
editLag refers to delays experienced in computing communications.
Shouldn't this say something like:
Lag refers to an experienced delay (falling behind) and in modern computer networking it refers to a slow down in computing communications. --Hogan 16:47, 15 April 2006 (UTC)

– No clear primary topic for this generic 3 letter word, although Google does show quite a few results for this, other topics are clearly present. Views[[1]] don't appear to show a clear primary topic though some of the highly viewed items might not be called just "lag" very often though I still don't see a clear primary topic. Lag (game terminology) is another possibility. Crouch, Swale (talk) 18:38, 28 August 2021 (UTC)
- Support per nomination. No primary topic indeed. —Roman Spinner (talk • contribs) 01:39, 29 August 2021 (UTC)
- Support alternate move to Lag (video games) Doesn't seem to be a primary topic. Alternate target is based on the precedent of other articles in the same category.ZXCVBNM (TALK) 21:05, 29 August 2021 (UTC)
- My alternative was based on Health (game terminology) in Category:Video game terminology. Crouch, Swale (talk) 21:14, 29 August 2021 (UTC)
- "Lag" is a video game only term, and the majority of video game terms were agreed upon by WP:VG to use the disambiguation "video games". ZXCVBNM (TALK) 21:30, 29 August 2021 (UTC)

- Comment Something needs to be done. I support the second move of the computer-gaming term, but would have a primary redirect to Latency (engineering). All the common terms are based on that definition, and many are partial title matches. Łąg and Lag (company) are certainly not relevant for a primary topic. Perhaps the DAB should be moved to LAG, there are plenty of acronyms here. User:力 (power~enwiki, π, ν) 21:10, 29 August 2021 (UTC)
- What about jet lag? It's not at all based on latency in engineering. ZXCVBNM (TALK) 21:29, 29 August 2021 (UTC)
- That's a partial-title-match; and while it doesn't match the latency article it is from the same dictionary definition. (the person is slow as a result). User:力 (power~enwiki, π, ν) 21:34, 29 August 2021 (UTC)
- Funnily enough I came across this when looking at Lag, Mull[2] a small place in Scotland, see User:Crouch, Swale/Isle of Mull#Other places on the Gazetteer for Scotland and it does have coverage. I still think in terms of generic meanings its too generic to have a PT. The other definition the Oxford Dictionary gives is the water covering one. Crouch, Swale (talk) 21:42, 29 August 2021 (UTC)

- Support. Looking at mainspace wikilinks targeting the basename, a lot of them are mistargeted, which is strong evidence that the current ptopic situation is unsatisfactory. I'm neutral on the choice of parenthetical disambiguator for the gaming concept. Colin M (talk) 23:20, 29 August 2021 (UTC)
- Support Lag (video games) per WP:NCVGDAB. The primary topic of "lag" is "some sort of delay", but we don't have an article on that overarching concept, only specific applications of that concept in different fields, so we need Lag (disambiguation) in the main slot to cover all bases. -- King of ♥ ♦ ♣ ♠ 07:46, 31 August 2021 (UTC)
- Support Lag -> Lag (video games). However, I would agree with power that Latency is an appropriate primary topic, for the reasons they raised as well as the fact that the page seems to have slightly more prominence in terms of views, receiving slightly more than any of the alternatives that are not subsections within a larger article.
