Naming conventions inconsistent
editKawaguchiko is translated in the title as Lake Kawaguchi. This is fine, because the ko at the end translates to lake.
However Yamanakako is has been translated as Yamanakako instead of 'Lake Yamanaka'.
To further complicate things, most English maps available the Yamanashi province use the naming convention Lake Kawaguchiko. This naming convention is redundant, as it basically means Lake Lake Kawaguchi, but the fact the entire japanese name is kept in tact might help with communication problems.
Wouldn't it be best to stick to the same convention as the maps found in the area? People who cannot read Japanese may become confused.

rapid decrease in Lake Kawaguchi water levels
editA credible blogger is reporting a sudden decrease in water level at the lake.
That the real time feed is now dead, is somewhat worrisome. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Patbahn (talk • contribs) 19:17, 10 March 2013 (UTC)
