Map

edit

A map would be very useful for this article. Ruhrfisch 03:23, 19 December 2006 (UTC)Reply

Agreed. If anyone knows of a better satellite image, please post. ConicProjection (talk) 03:15, 25 July 2009 (UTC)Reply

The map doesn't even show Lake Nipigon...the white area that the caption refers to is for an older image (check the image history), which actually shows Lake Nipigon. I'm new to editing stuff, so I don't know how to change it back to the old one. Maybe someone here can do it? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.96.142.86 (talk) 03:08, 14 September 2010 (UTC)Reply

History section

edit

I added the sentence about Lake N. being, at times, a drainage source for Lake Aggasiz (mainly based on the statement to that effect in the Lake Aggasiz article). This sentence seems a little out of place compared to the other information in the History section; perhaps someone can suggest (or implement) an improved structure? For example, perhaps the sentence belongs in the "Geography" section (although I like it in the History section)?

Volume Accuracy

edit

The figure is inconsistent with this page: List of lakes by volume

The figure given on that page is calculated from estimates of the lake's geometry in the source, while the figure on this page is taken directly from a source without calculation required. The source here is better. I will update the other page. Ivanvector (talk) 22:46, 22 December 2014 (UTC)Reply
