Could we get a local or two to confirm if Lake Placid is indeed a suburb of Cairns? I can't find it on Google Maps, it's not on the Cairns Regional council website (http://www.cairns.qld.gov.au)... Council website says there's a road and a park by that name, but both are in the suburb of Caravonica.
