Newly added population figures
editThe most recent edit replaced the historical census data with a conflicting source. According to WP:USCITIES, "The US Census should be the primary source of demographic data. If census estimates or other reliable sources of demographic data are included, the additional data should supplement – not replace – the most recent available data from the decennial census." I'm inclined to revert to the census figures. Ntsimp (talk) 02:57, 25 January 2023 (UTC)
- OK, User:OquirrhMountainMan, I went ahead and did it. I understand there's no correlation between historical and current boundaries, but at least the census was an actual enumeration. That needs to be the source for population figures. Ntsimp (talk) 11:37, 25 January 2023 (UTC)
I went to the UofU library yesterday to track down a book that is referenced in other Utah city pages (including Park City) for accurate population figures. I have photos of the book and page that I referenced. I’ll accept the reversion until I have even more evidence. OquirrhMountainMan (talk) 11:59, 25 January 2023 (UTC)
