How many gallons of water?
editAccording to the history portion: "It then created a reservoir of over ten million gallons covering 834 acres..."
My math might be wrong, but with a surface area of 834 acres – about 36.3 million square feet -- and an average depth of 28 feet, it seems Lake Rabun would contain roughly 1 billion cubic feet of water. That comes to about 7.6 billion gallons. It think the lake holds significantly more than 10 million gallons. 2600:8806:2209:2D00:BC3C:9D93:C1A0:4A57 (talk) 22:20, 22 March 2023 (UTC)
- It could refer to usable capacity for hydro power generation, but I'd rather see a source for that information than do calculations. —C.Fred (talk) 02:37, 23 March 2023 (UTC)
