Lelena covered by the Beatles ?
edit>>>>The Beatles, during the 1968 The Beatles sessions, also covered this song
Well, the recording available to us ("Abbey Road NW8") is in fact a rehearsal by Donovan & McCartney only recorded during sessions for Apple Recording Artis Mary Hopkins. Mark Lewisohn reference guide to Beatles recording does not reference this cover.Aldejerph (talk) 14:06, 21 October 2010 (UTC)
Spelling?
editCurrently this article's title is "Laléna", but the text uses "Laleña". AllMusic claims Donovan's records say "Lalena", although at least one version of Peace and Love Songs back cover shows "Laleña", which is how it's pronounced (la-LAY-nya) when Donovan sings it. Can we get a definitive source for the correct spelling? ~ Jeff Q (talk) 03:33, 8 November 2015 (UTC)
- The spelling "Laleña" has never been used by Donovan (neither by Deep Purple), have a look at the *original* music releases. (E-Kartoffel (talk) 09:55, 25 October 2016 (UTC))
Song’s Genre
editI read that it’s classed as « Hard Rock », but the source mention Deep Purple, which has nothing to do with donovan. I think « Folk » would replace it better. 109.218.165.126 (talk) 20:45, 14 July 2022 (UTC)
