Lambada - Stereo Love
editRemoving this from the covers section, there's no evidence that Stereo Love actually samples Lambada. Rodface (talk) 17:51, 22 April 2011 (UTC)
Fair use rationale for Image:Lambada (cover).jpg
editImage:Lambada (cover).jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.
Just a question
editWhere are the reliable sources which prove Kaoma stole this song from "Los Kjarkas"? If they really exist, please include them to the article. If they don't, we must exclude the accusation. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 189.58.173.178 (talk) 23:29, 31 May 2009 (UTC)
RE: Here is one of the many sources that give credit to Bolivian group los Kjarkas as the original lyrics and music writers of this song : http://www.elpais.com/articulo/cultura/Kjarkas/lambada/dolor/elpepicul/19900529elpepicul_17/Tes/ —Preceding unsigned comment added by 98.254.226.153 (talk) 22:50, 22 February 2010 (UTC)
It is not a Brazilian song, it is a version of "Llorando se fue"
editI am amuse with this article, this song it is well known that was a copy of "Llorando se fué". Kaoma, lost the trial with los Kjarkas.
This article is confuse. It can not say that this a brazilian song and later say that it is version of the bolivian one. I strongly suggest change the first paragraph.

Lambada (Kaoma song) → Lambada (song) — Because that is the ONLY track that has "Lambada". j3j3j3...pfH0wHz 08:40, 5 February 2011 (UTC)

Merge with Llorando se fue!
editThe original song (1981) and history of adaptions better at Llorando se fue. "Lambada" was a successful version of another "Llorando se fue" version, the 1984's of the Peruvian group Cuarteto Continental. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 189.103.31.154 (talk) 10:24, 1 June 2011 (UTC)
- no, this deserves its own article — Preceding unsigned comment added by Tony Orlando and Dusk (talk • contribs) 20:21, 8 June 2011 (UTC)
- Oppose: Not a good idea I think. As the title "Lambada" is much more known than "Llorando se fue", WP readers might be surprised by such a change. Moreover, if the merger is performed, the categories "Number-one single in ..." and "Singles certified ..." will appear under the title "Llorando se fue", which would be a source of confusion, as these categories actually belong to the "Lambada" version.
--Europe22 (talk) 20:35, 8 June 2011 (UTC)
This article does a poor job explaining the history of the song. Llorando Se Fue came out in 1981, Chorando Se Foi came out in 1986, and yet the article makes it sound like this version from 1989 is the original version. (Not to mention the group that did the 1981 version sued for its unauthorized version.)
