Conflict of interest concerns
editThe uploader of the images used in this article, Tassosl, has marked it as "own work" for licensing purposes. These images are the same as images used elsewhere (particularly in some of the links I have recently removed) in the press and marketing materials for this product. This suggests that this user (at least) has a conflict of interest, and they should be aware of our conflict of interest guidelines. -- [ UseTheCommandLine ~/talk ]# ▄ 20:48, 29 August 2013 (UTC)
TassosL response
editWhen compiling this page (as well as the Speiron one) I contacted the manufacturer to obtain permission to use the photos from his site. I marked them as own work, meaning work owned by the company marketing the product. I apologize for any misunderstanding. Please advice on how I should tag the photos so that any further problems are avoided. Thanks! — Preceding unsigned comment added by Tassosl (talk • contribs) 09:57, 31 August 2013 (UTC)
- This editor has been indef blocked, the article's Afd has been closed as keep and all spam content has been expunged -- as the closing admin has noted. I therefore propose to remove the COI maintenance tag once his olive oil info box has also been deleted and removed, as it seems well on the way to being, at Tfd. - I second this notion above, and I've boldly removed the COI tag at this time. The only infobox currently in the article is the Infobox brand one. Northamerica1000(talk) 11:23, 3 October 2013 (UTC)
