Hi, I'm reviewing this article for the June Backlog Drive.

GA review (see here for what the criteria are, and here for what they are not)

What a fun article! Thanks for the opportunity to read/learn about what's for me is an obscure topic.

  1. It is reasonably well written.
a (prose, spelling, and grammar):   b (MoS for lead, layout, word choice, fiction, and lists):
The prose could use some work, but it's adequate for a GA. Could you label the table, please? (Har-har) I'm not sure what it's suppopsed to represent. Lambert's inventions? Also, do you have a citation for it?
  2. It is factually accurate and verifiable.
a (reference section):   b (citations to reliable sources):   c (OR):   d (copyvio and plagiarism):
I realize this is picky, but Forkner says that the company hired "300 men and boys". I think you should keep that specificity because it obviously infers they hired no women and that they hired minors. Also, ref 3 (Lucendo) doesn't support your claim stated in the 1st sentence of the 3rd paragraph. Is it mislabelled? Please go through your references (I checked the ones that were accessible) for other possible errors and ensure that they support your claims.
  3. It is broad in its coverage.
    a (major aspects):   b (focused):
    Appears to be broad enough.
  4. It follows the neutral point of view policy.
    Fair representation without bias:
  5. It is stable.
    No edit wars, etc.:
No evidence of recent edit warring.
  6. It is illustrated by images and other media, where possible and appropriate.
a (images are tagged and non-free content have non-free use rationales):   b (appropriate use with suitable captions):
I love the images! All have great captions and are tagged correctly (all public domain).
  7. Overall:
    Pass/Fail:
Take care of the few picky pieces of feedback, and I'll gladly pass this to GA. Keep up the good work! -- 05:05, 7 June 2022‎ Figureskatingfan
  • @Doug Coldwell: thanks for your quick response. I moved the table ref to the top; it's picky, but to me, putting a ref at the end means that it supports that final entry, not the whole table. Speaking of, thanks for putting up with my pickyness, but it indicates that this article was already pretty high-quality. Sorry it took so long to be reviewed. Keep up the good work; will go pass this article to GA now. Best, Christine (Figureskatingfan) (talk) 14:51, 7 June 2022 (UTC)Reply
