I found this definition, "The lamina terminalis is a thin sheet of gray matter and pia mater that attaches to the upper surface of the chiasm and stretches upward to fill the interval between the optic chiasm and the rostrum of the corpus callosum.", apparently from a book, Craniopharyngiomas

cited at: https://www.sciencedirect.com/topics/neuroscience/lamina-terminalis . I could only read the abstract there, and the definition above was not included in the abstract, so I can't add this definition and properly cite it.
However, I think the lead could be improved by incorporating additional definition like this, since this wiki article currently seems to read mostly relative to embryology, not adult anatomy, as when it mentions 'optic stalk', which I think is only found in embryo, not in adult brain?
