- Hi, Keskival. Thanks for showing your recently-taken glow worm pictures. You might want to compare them with some of the others on Commons (see here). Whilst not bad, I don't quite think they've the sharpness and detail we're after. One trick I use when photographing the female is to wave around a tiny amount of torch-light in the background to give a faint illumination to the scene. One thing you do need to do is sort out the categorisation you've used for your pictures. 'Insects' is far too broad, whilst 'Firefly' is not appropriate. Try c:Category:Lampyris noctiluca (female). Cheers, Nick Moyes (talk) 21:54, 1 June 2020 (UTC)
Thanks, fixed the categorization!

The pictures are good and at least don´t show Lamprohiza instead of Lampyris, like this one obviously shows: https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/4/4e/Lampyris_noctiluca_luciole.jpg Still not sure how and why this Lamprohiza female picture is still here on the Lampyris noctiluca wikipedia page for all these years.
