- Assuming you deleted that in 2009, someone has reinstated the category "Early British Railway Companies" :-(
- And apparently in 1887 "the Manchester, Sheffield and Lincolnshire Railway was still in its infancy"!
- The whole article as at present is bizarre; 458 words of historical development; 3,101 words of other material.
- The huge list of "further material" (38 entries) is regrettable. For example Jowett's Nationalised Atlas is included; British Railways Past and Present is included, with no indication of why.
