Merger proposal

I propose that Congo rubber be merged into Landolphia owariensis. The Congo rubber article has very little text compared to the detail in this article. Yoninah (talk) 18:38, 12 April 2017 (UTC)

I have no particular objection to merging though I don't think it will improve the article which already has a decent History section added by Hanberke. Cwmhiraeth (talk) 19:31, 12 April 2017 (UTC)

The History section in Congo rubber is one long quote, making most of the article fair use. My intent in proposing this merge is that whatever is salvageable in Congo rubber should be moved to Landolphia owariensis, although as TheGracefulSlick notes, there isn't much that's salvageable. • Comment - I think it would be more productive to just redirect "Congo rubber" to this article. There is no worthwhile material from the Congo rubber page to save, really. Cwmhiraeth and Hanberke's article covers the subject more fully.TheGracefulSlick (talk) 17:21, 13 April 2017 (UTC)
