is this any different from Grammar-oriented_programming? Bayle Shanks (talk) 07:55, 6 October 2009 (UTC)Reply

More to the point - doesn't this *at least* go back to Kernighan & Plauger's "software tools"?? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 121.73.254.218 (talk) 21:02, 11 March 2010 (UTC)Reply

If 121.73.254.218 could be more specific about what in K&P's "Software Tools" book relates to this article I'll look into it. The description of this book on Amazon gives no indication of a link. David D Allen (talk) 18:39, 30 April 2010 (UTC)Reply

Language-oriented programming does appear to be related to, or the same as Grammar-oriented_programming. I'm researching the literature on this topic and related, I'll look into it. David D Allen (talk) 18:39, 30 April 2010 (UTC)Reply

Prolog

edit

I am missing prolog in this category. Actually prolog modules like clpfd, chr and dcg can be seen as syntax extensions and they are mixable which is very strong. It is even mixable with a bigger language project namely logtalk which is also a language on top of prolog. I am not 100% sure but I think the racket languages cannot bi mixed so easily. I wish someone can prove me wrong. 95.91.243.156 (talk) 21:32, 7 September 2022 (UTC)Reply
