Reason for closure
editFrom the article: "the Lappin Foundation was forced to close due to the arrest of Bernard L. Madoff for securities fraud, and the subsequent freeze of assets that Madoff managed...". Ok, I know what you mean, but it's not the freezing of the assets that has forced it to close, it's the realisation that those assets do not exist. Is there a better way of saying this?
