The surname listing page for "Larijani" (they are all brothers from one very politically prominent Iranian family) lists the fifth Larijani brother as follows:
"Fazel Larijani, is a physician."
The above may be an error in regard to Fazel Larijani's profession which has possibly arisen through Fazel being inadvertently confused with his brother Bagher, a physician as noted on the page, correctly according to his brother Mohammed-Javad (same source as the following).
Here's the evidence: According to Mohammad-Javad Larijani, Fazel's brother, in an interview carried on YouTube with Charlie Rose (at about minute 3:20 into the interview) available at "http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rkNya0z_8Kk" entitled "Charlie Rose/Mohammad-Javad Larijani/Nov. 26, 2010," his brother states that Fazel Larijani is a physicist by training, and was also in the past Cultural Attache at the Iranian Embassy in Ottawa, Canada.
My impression is that Fazel Larijani, the only Larijani brother without a Wikipedia page, probably needs one given the importance of the family on the IRI political stage. Hopefully, this more organized format may encourage improved accuracy of information concerning him and the other brothers. I'd be tempted to set up the page in skeleton form myself, but do not know how. Anyone else interested?
Based on the information cited above I've tentatively changed Fazel's occupation on the main page to "physicist and diplomat", but wanted to explain why I have done so in case the information should prove inaccurate and the correction needs to be undone. I probably should add that the above source should not be considered as absolutely definitive, though it might at first appear to be so. Whether Mohammad-Javed Larijani actually received the doctoral degree in Mathematics from UC Berkeley some organizations he is connected with have reportedly claimed for him seems to be disputed (see talk page of the Wikepedia entry under his name, at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Talk:Mohammad-Javad_Larijani for details of confusion as to whether he ever obtained his doctorate and from where). Over and above normal care in accepting information for inclusion in Wikipedia without careful checks, Mohammad-Javad's characterization of his brother's profession as physicist, while certainly plausible on its face, should perhaps be subject to particularly stringent further verification.
