Magraw Gap band name
editMay be named after McGraw Gap in Sharon, Virginia or McGraw Gap Road in Hot Springs, Virginia (both are close to where at least one group founder lived at the time).--Artaxerxes 21:42, 3 October 2017 (UTC)
Jenny Keel
editInterview with her and Larry . .[1] Maybe spelled "Jenney"? Born September 1, 1955 (she's discovered the Fountain of Youth)? The "little tavern" where they met might be the Southern Inn in Lexington, Virginia (local musicians often perform there).--Artaxerxes 14:17, 4 October 2017 (UTC)
Sources and promotional wording
editI have reverted edits that added promotional wording and unsourced content, as well as that which the editor said was "pulled" from the subject's website. All content should be written neutrally and sourced to reliable independent secondary sources. I have also gone through the current sources and flagged a number that are dead links, as well as removed some content sourced only to dead links. If there is content that other editors believe should be included, this is the place to discuss them. If better sources can be found, great. Melcous (talk) 15:38, 26 December 2022 (UTC)
You can also, when needed, source to a page as source of truth when needed, as I used for the block quote, even if a primary or biased source, as noted in above linked guidelines. I will work on adding back some of the items that were removed and better link to some of the items within. Some of that info, as it is a source of fact, will be added back. Not sure what kind of wiki nazi level of aggression has transpired here, but I am following the guidelines appropriately and trying to make sure people understand what Larry does and who he is. Please quit hijacking this site. I'm reaching out to the admin group now. Floydiantrooper (talk) 23:57, 26 December 2022 (UTC)
Removing factual content without adding anything of substance in return
editIf folks are going to make changes, please actually do so without removing factual, needed updates to the content only to whine about something you don't like, while providing quality updates and change sto the site. It doesn't help to have folks come in and remove content that is factual, referenced, and updated because you don't like the formatting or it doesn't align with your preconceived biases on page setup. - I don't have preconceived biases, but there is a manual of style as well as core guidelines that all wikipedia articles need to follow. Content that is promotional or not sourced can and should be removed. Melcous (talk) 00:40, 27 December 2022 (UTC)
