Speedy Deletion
edit-This page seems to exist solely to promote Lars Andersen.
-While the content is derived from several RS ... the useful information is all ultimately derived from a single youtube video and the RS provided simply reference the video.
-Finally many of the "factual" claims made in the video are patently false and have been debunked in several places ... but here is an RS for the debunkning: Archery Video Debunked 1 Archery Video Debunked 2

- Contested deletion. I created this article. Even a single Youtube video may be notable enough as long as it has received significant coverage in reliable sources that are independent of the subject. Based on independent secondary sources, this page is apparently not exclusively promotional and does not meet the Speedy Deletion criteria, Even if the "factual" claims made in the video are patently false, it does not mean that this person is not notable. The debunkning in other independent secondary sources might even make this person more notable. I have added the debunkning sources provided by you to the article. But I cannot access these websites and cannot open these links. It will be great if you can provide more detailed information to Template:Cite web in these references. Anyway it should not be speedily deleted, and should at least go through the AfD process.--Neo-Jay (talk) 07:16, 7 February 2015 (UTC)
- I think that the most that can be taken away from Lars' video is that he claims to be a good archer and seems to perform some interesting stunts. But none of it is verifiable. And since all of the sources refer to his self-created video there is no way to test his claims. Furthermore since many of the video's claims are simply wrong, it is a video promoting misinformation. Thus all that remains is opinionated self promotion. Zuchinni one (talk) 03:38, 8 February 2015 (UTC)
- @Zuchinni one: This source from Men's Journal claims that Andersen is a archery speed world record holder. Is this claim also simply wrong? If not, this single fact is enough to make him notable. --Neo-Jay (talk) 15:21, 10 February 2015 (UTC)
- Sure the claim is made ... but where is anything that backs it up? The only evidence I saw is another video that he self-produced which is posted to his youtube account. Honestly at this point the guy is most notable for tricking lots of people into thinking that he's "discovered ancient archery techniques". If this page was rewritten with that context it might be OK ... same as the "ballon boy" story that was made up; it's only notable for the fact that it was a bogus claim that got a lot of media attention.
