Talk:Las Vegas Convention Center Loop
Speed/Distance Inconsistency
editThe tunnel is 1.7 miles long and covers a 25 minute walking distance, according to the article. But, also according to the article, the tunnel operates at 35 mph. I think something is either inconsistent here, or requires more detail. Jwdevine21 (talk) 16:00, 12 January 2024 (UTC)
Category:Bus Rapid Transit in Nevada
editI've overwritten Category:Bus Rapid Transit in Nevada with Category:The Boring Company. Anyone think it needs the original category re-adding in addition? Darrelljon (talk) 21:15, 14 May 2024 (UTC)
unbalanced
edit« The Loop will consist of a tunnel and a modified Tesla Model X chassis, which the company calls an autonomous electric vehicle (AEV). The AEV will transport up to 16 passengers with both sitting and standing room at speeds up to 155 MPH, according to the company. » − Popular mechanics
the vegas loop has been insanely promoted by musk and his muskitoes as the first hyperloop project. this is not what has been delivered.
the 4400 passengers per hour was not just some theoretical flow: the boring company « will have to pay hefty fines if it doesn't meet the goal of being able to transport 4,400 passengers per hour on a daily basis » − mashable
that's just 10 minutes googling on the subject and it already shows how the article is unbalanced Zorkat (talk) 08:32, 25 May 2024 (UTC)
Personal rapid transit
editThe "system" is listed as a personal rapid transit system - only - it isn't really is it. It's an underground tunnel which allows regular taxis to drive through it, nothing more. Lbthomsen (talk) 08:53, 21 August 2024 (UTC)
- Agreed. It also does not meet the criteria on the linked article. Will remove. • Bobsd • (talk) 19:47, 27 August 2024 (UTC)
