Citation needed for fan traditions?

GO TO A GAME. There are no news articles or stories to cite for this. Just go to a blasted game and you'll see it for yourself. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.234.0.200 (talk) 17:24, 15 October 2007 (UTC)Reply

I have to agree, and add more to the discussion. MANY, if not ALL, of the teams in litterally every level of hockey boo's the refs as they skate on. Also, the same goes for the goal scoring taunting and other ridicules. Unless you state that the Wranglers aren't the only team to use these traditions, I personally will take those specific traditions off. I've seen all but two home games since their existence, and most of the fan traditions noted are true. The only one I take issue with is the potatoes; I've never seen that happen. In addition to Metcalf of the Alaska Aces, the fans have a special hatred of Galbraith of the Idaho Steelheads. I'm not exactly thrilled with some of those traditions (I tend to frown on negativity) but it is what it is. Also, it's common for fans to point to the penalty box when a visiting player is called, and the waving is reserved for a player who has to leave the ice due to a penalty. Fair use rationale for Image:Las Vegas Wranglers.gif

edit

Image:Las Vegas Wranglers.gif is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 22:56, 5 June 2007 (UTC)Reply

Update to the article

edit

Currently, I'm trying to adapt this article to good article status. I was born and raised in Las Vegas and was a Wranglers season ticket holder (as well as Thunder season ticket holder) for all five years, but since I have moved to Ohio for college I haven't been able to get really good information for the team outside of the ECHL and team's website. I would be very greatful if anyone who is a Wranglers fan and goes to the majority of the games would send me as much information from the past 2 years so I can create new splinter articles for the this article. To look at some of my projects that I'm getting ready to make into permanent articles on wikipedia just look at the current projects section of my user page. Together I believe that we can make this the first minor league franchise article to become the featured article on wikipedia. Go Wranglers! Rik (talk) 03:31, 27 April 2008 (UTC)Reply

Question

Why couldn’t the Wranglers use Thomas & Mack Center or MGM Grand Garden Arena for the 2015-16 season when Orleans Arena did not renew their contract? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2001:569:BD39:6400:21D3:3CD3:FFF2:3D80 (talk) 02:53, 21 October 2019 (UTC)Reply

Money. They were already losing money and those arenas' rent were already higher and too big. Yosemiter (talk) 03:02, 21 October 2019 (UTC)Reply
