Surnames & Chief titles
editSamoan matai chief titles come first in Samoan naming convention - so that 'Mamoe' is the 'lesser' name. So I've kept 'Lauaki' as the 'surname' within the body of the article. Also added a note on pronunciation in the article - k (conversational informal) = t (formal & written)...didn't know if that was the right place to put the note. Maybe someone can move it. I've stayed with the name 'Lauki' rather than 'Lauati' as that is what this person is usually referred to in the history books - for citations. Also, sometimes the chief titles change around in Samoa i.e. this name can sometimes be referred to as Namuluulu Lauaki Mamoe - if someone knows how to standardise this in the article, that be great.Teine Savaii (talk) 03:54, 10 October 2009 (UTC)
